Agia Kiriaki Village - South Pelion

Agia Kiriaki is a small coastal village with a port serving the village of Trikeri. The village has an Aegean Sea atmosphere simliar to an island. The habitation on this village began in 1785 with first resident being a boat owner named Hatzilemonis.

The village is located just 4 km from the nearby village of Trikeri, where you will have the chance to taste fresh fish and sea food at the traditional fish taverns, which are situated around the port.

The pearly white houses of the village, stretch amphitheatrically along the beach, while at it's picturesque port are a colourful collection of fishing boats, yachts and caiques.

Visitors to the village can take a stroll around, passing by the old school, picturesque corners with alleys and yards covered in flowers, while the church of Agia Kiriaki will make an impression to you with it's traditional appearance.

Every year on the 7th of July at Agia Kiriaki, a large traditional and religious festival takes place, with local music and traditional dance, providing visitors with the chance to see the women of Trikeri, wearing their traditional folklore costumes.
