MUNICIPALITIES OF SOUTH PELION
Today in South Pelion are three local self governing bodies.
On the north side of South Pelion is the Municipality of Argalasti,
with capital being the village Argalasti.
In the center of South Pelion is the Municipality of Sipiada with
capital the village Lafkos, which is the largest in Pelion.
The Municipality of Sipiada has approximately 2000 habitants
and consists in three municipal regions, those of Lafkos, Milina
and Promiri.
The villages of Platanias, Katigiotgis, Kastri, Liri
and Mourtias all belong to the municiple region of Promiri.
The southern part of South Pelion is taken up by the Trikeri
community.
